Comet C/2019 L3 (ATLAS), 22 March 2022
Comet C/2019 L3 (ATLAS) was discovered on 10 June 2019 by the Asteroid Terrestrial-Impact Last Alert System (ATLAS), two telescopes developed by the University of Hawaii as an early warning system of a possible impact from an asteroid or comet. The comet reached perihelion on 09 January.
The following image of the comet was taken on 22 March. There is no evidence of a cometary tail.
