If you are interested in joining, please attend one of our meetings at Newbourne. There you will meet some of our enthusiastic members who will share with you their passion for astronomy and tell you about OASI and the activities that we pursue.

If you are a UK taxpayer, please consider completing the Gift Aid declaration to enable OASI to recoup funds from HMRC.
Anyone who wishes to attend more than two meetings at Newbourne will be asked to become a member.
Membership entitles an individual and his/her immediate family (spouse, partner, children, parents) to attend all OASI meetings and events. At committee or other meetings, membership carries only one vote. For child protection purposes, all persons under 18 years old must be accompanied at meetings and events by a parent/guardian.
Membership of OASI is at the discretion of the Committee. If your membership application is rejected, your membership fee will be returned.
The annual subscription is £20.00.
Subscriptions are due on 01 January each year. Members joining throughout the year pay pro-rata as follows:
Joining or renewing in August 2026, the fee is £14.00 and subsequent renewal is due on 01 January 2027.
